Originally from Culiacán, Sinaloa, this group was founded in 2017 by Paul Noriega, the accordionist and lead vocalist. Since its inception, Paul has been joined by his talented bandmates: José Ángel on the bajo sexto, Rafael Mapula on bass and backup vocals, and Eder Castañeda on drums. Together, they have crafted a unique musical style that blends traditional rhythms with original and inspiring lyrics based on real-life stories, resonating deeply with the people. Some songs are made to entertain, while others are meant to remind us what truly matters. "Ironías De La Vida" by Los Mentados de Culiacán is an emotional reflection on chasing dreams while unknowingly letting life's greatest treasures slip away.
